Toyota launches sports Prius was shown earlier this year in Tokyo
Toyota develops new version of the Prius, which will be labeled G Sports.
The aim of the company is interested in other than normal hybrid car customers. Concept Sports Toyota Prius Gs was shown earlier this year in Tokyo. Serial model is now ready.
It will be even closer to the road and will have characteristic body kit which will differ from the standard version. Will have larger brakes and wheels measuring 18 inches.
Gs version of the Prius will have a tight and sport suspension, and it would reduce its weight by about 20 kg. compared with the standard Prius. There will be some changes in the interior.
Unfortunately there will be no changes in engines and Prius Gs will have the same 98 hp which has a base car. Will be sold in the first half of next year in Japan and will cost about 3500 dollars more than the standard model.
Still do not report whether this version will be sold in other world markets.
